INDUSTRIAL POSITIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION

MEET SUPER VAC’S INDUSTRIAL PPV FAN LINEUP

THE INDUSTRY’S TOUGHEST POSITIVE PRESSURE INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION FANS

Super Vac delivers the world’s largest lineup of positive pressure industrial ventilation fans in battery, electric or gasoline. These fans feature a chopper blade, which pushes a wide mass of air through a strategically placed exit point, helping remove heat, smoke or contaminated air from the space. These industrial PPV fans are ideal for general and large area ventilation, and select electric models are available with a hazardous location motor.

WHAT IS POSITIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION?

And how is it used in industrial applications
compared to negative pressure ventilation?

POSITIVE PRESSURE

A positive pressure ventilation fan (or PPV) is positioned at the entry to push air into the space, creating pressure that moves heat, smoke or contaminated air out of an exit point. The Super Vac PPV fan features a chopper blade, which moves a wider mass of air, ideal for:

  • General and large area ventilation

Negative PRESSURE

A negative pressure ventilation blower (a Blower/ Exhauster) is positioned at an exit point to pull air away from the space, creating negative pressure to remove the heat, smoke or contaminated air. Many of these industrial ventilation fans feature Super Vac’s patented spiral blade that creates a more concise, direct air flow, ideal for:

  • Confined space ventilation
  • Ducted ventilation
  • Cooling machines or work areas
  • Positive pressure scenarios, when positive
    side of fan is used
